This is a CHS2 pacing hike and will be led over the 2.0-3.0 mph range of CHS2 pace. We will do the May Valley Loop on the south side of Squak Mountain.

This is a CHS 2 pacing hike.   We will vary our pace during the hike to experience the 2.0-3.0 mph range for CHS2.

We will meet at the May Valley Loop trailhead in the Squak Mountain State Park parking lot at 9am.  A Discover Pass is required for parking here.  There is a restroom at this trailhead.

The park is located just south of Issaquah. Exit I-90 at Exit 15 and turning southbound on Issaquah-Renton Road, drive 4 miles, then turn left on the May Valley Road. Drive 2.5 miles to the Squak Mountain State Park parking lot (21500 May Valley Road) on the left.
