CHS 2 Hike - Wonderland Trail: Longmire, Reflection Lakes & Box Canyon

Sturdy water-proof footwear and trekking poles are recommended. The trail may be quite muddy  or rocky in certain places. Sunscreen and/or protective clothing is recommended as there is little no tree-cover on certain sections of the trail and full sun-exposure as we hike through the meadow.

Flush toilets are available behind the Longmire Information Center.

We will stop for a well-deserved lunch break at Paradise Inn with Mt. Rainer dominating the skyline. Please bring small, energizing snacks that are easily consumed during our short 5–10-minute breaks that you can eat on the go!

 Carpooling: Meet at South Renton Park & Ride in Renton 5:15am. Load up and depart by 5:30am. It’s approximately 2-hour drive to the trailhead.

Weather: Please check the local weather the night before and the morning of the hike at NWS for Longmire and NWS for Paradise

If the trail conditions and or the weather is unfavorable, the hike will be canceled or rescheduled for a different location.
