Not the usual hike to Marmot Pass from the west side. CHS hike led at a CHS 2 pace (2.0-3.0 mph). Priority given to participants in the Olympic Peninsula Campout weekend.

The usual way to hike Marmot Pass is from the east side via the Upper Big Quilcene trail. We'll hike to Marmot Pass from the west side. The hike starts at the Dungeness River Trailhead, heads up the valley into the Buckhorn Wilderness, before ascending to Marmot Pass.
Will carpool from the Olympic Peninsula Campout at the Dungeness Recreation Area.
