Meeting place and time: Arrive by 6:45 for introductions and ready to hike promptly at 7:00 am.
Toilet: At trailhead
Trip Description: As you ascend the trail and gain elevation, there will be a few places where you can look down on Rattlesnake Lake and appreciate your progress.
Pass: Discover Pass
Weather: Be sure to check the weather closer to the date. from NWS
Expectations: We will hike as a group, with focus on enjoying the morning and nature together. The lead person must be able to see the sweep person.
After Hike: After the hike you’re invited to tail gate with me at the trailhead. I'll have some snacks and cold/hot drinks depending on the temperature.
Carpooling options: If you would like to join a carpool, please send an email to the roster.
Needed Equipment: Bring snacks. Poles are a recommended part of your gear for this hike. And, of course, your 10 Essentials with appropriate clothing layers and an extra pair of socks.

EARLY START SUNRISE HIKE: MEET AT 6:45 AM AND START HIKE AT 7:00 AM
Directions: From Seattle: Take exit 20 and then turn right onto the frontage road paralleling the interstate. In just under 0.5 mile the road ends at a gate. The gate opens daily, though it is closed and locked at 7:00 PM.
