Surprise Mountain is a 6,330-foot mountain summit located above the southern end of Glacier Lake and Surprise Lake.
Sturdy boots and at least 1 trekking pole recommended for some rough “boot path” portions.
It will likely be buggy… please bring whatever system works for you for mosquitos.
We'll meet at the Surprise Lake Trailhead (47.7065, -121.1500). We’ll start early if the weather is projected to get above 72 or so, likely at 6:30 am.
I can drive 2-3 folks from the Bothell P&R.
Drivers: you’ll need a Northwest Forest Pass or America the Beautiful Pass to park.
