CHS 2 Hike

Field trip: Conditioning Hiking Series

CHS 2 Hike - Snowgrass Flat & Goat Lake Loop

CHS hike led at a CHS 2 pace (2.0-3.0 mph) This stunning loop in the Goat Rocks Wilderness offers wildflower-filled meadows, dramatic alpine views, and a serene stop at Goat Lake. We’ll hike through Snowgrass Flat, known for its open, flower-filled basin and panoramic ridgelines, with possible views of Mount Adams and Mount St. Helens if the skies are clear. The loop includes steady climbing on well-maintained trails with a few rocky and exposed sections, and a descent along a ridge with sweeping views.
