This is an iconic loop hike in the Goat Rocks.  We will start at the Berry Patch Trailhead and take the Goat Ridge Trail up to the junction with the Lily Basin Trail and then a side trip up to the Hawkeye Point viewpoint.  We will then return to the trail junction and continue on the Lily Basin Trail to Goat Lake, then on to the junction with the Snowgrass Trail in Snowgrass Flat, and will take that trail back to the Berry Patch Trailhead.

This is a long day of travel and hiking, so don't make any other plans for the day.

We will meet at the Berry Patch Trailhead at 8am.  There is an outhouse at the trailhead.  A discover pass is required for parking.

The trailhead is about a 3 hour drive from Seattle, so plan for a very long day.

Carpool option: Meet at the South Renton Park and Ride at 4:45am for 2:50min drive to the trailhead.

Lodging options:  For those that would like to avoid the long drive on the day of the hike, there are many lodging options in Packwood, WA.  It is about a 1 hour drive from Packwood to the trailhead.
