CHS 2 Hike - Navaho Pass

Navaho Pass is an excellent introduction to the Teanaway area. Rife with wildflowers, fascinating geology, and just enough elevation gain to keep it interesting, this hike has just about everything that the Teanaway is known for. This hike will be led at a brisk CHS 2 pace (2.5 mph).

  • Strenuous
  • Challenging
  • Mileage: 11.0 mi
  • Elevation Gain: 3,000 ft
  • Pace: 2.0-3.0 mph

We will meet at 8am at the Stafford Creek Trailhead.  Please note that a NW Forest Pass is required for parking. There is no cell service at this trailhead.

Bring your 10 essentials including snacks and lunch. We will enjoy our lunch once we reach Navaho Pass. The views from the ridge are gorgeous. We plan to be at the Pass for about 20 minutes before turning back towards the trailhead.

Leader will provide additional details to registered participants via email.

Please note that a service dog in training will be on this hike.
