We will hike a counterclockwise lollipop loop from the Mt Teneriffe trailhead and climb Mt Si the back way via the less-crowded Mt. Teneriffe Trail. This route is about two miles longer than climbing Mt. Si from the main trail, but the relative solitude is worth it. We will take a lunch break at the top and then descend via the Mt. Si main and Talus Loop trails. We'll take a short break at Snag Flat on the way down. Note that there is a short rock scramble section at the start of the Mt. Si descent. It is not difficult, but most people will want to stow the trekking poles and use hands instead.
Meet at the Mt. Teneriffe trailhead at 8:00 am and by ready to hike by 8:15am. Discover Pass required.
