We will hike up the Granite Creek trail to Upper Granite Lake, and we will take a lunch/snack break there.  The last bit of the trail to the lakes can often be muddy and rough, so be prepared for that.  We will return to the trailhead via the same route.

Meet at the Granite Creek trailhead at 8am.  It is a large paved parking lot.  The restrooms at the trailhead were damaged last year and reports indicate they are still closed, so there are no facilities here. A Discover Pass is required for parking.

Here is a Google Maps link to the trailhead location: https://www.google.com/maps/place/Granite+Creek+Trailhead+Parking+Area/@47.4921682,-121.6502988,2502m/data=!3m2!1e3!4b1!4m6!3m5!1s0x54907fef3fbb659f:0x5994b587d7eda1eb!8m2!3d47.4921687!4d-121.6399991!16s%2Fg%2F11f3nbjb8s?entry=ttu&g_ep=EgoyMDI1MDQzMC4xIKXMDSoASAFQAw%3D%3D

Carpool Option:  Meet at the Tibbets Valley Park Parking Lot at 7:15AM to consolidate into fewer cars.  It is a 25.5 mile drive to the trailhead, which should take about 35 minutes.  I'm willing to drive
