This trail climbs the western end of Rattlesnake Mountain and will give us some great views on a clear day of Mount Si and the Snoqualmie Valley.  We will take a short break at Stan's Overlook on the way up and hope to go a bit past the Grand Prospect bench if the trail conditions permit. (For another view on a clear day.) Be prepared for the elevation gain as this hike is steadily uphill.

Additional information about our destination can be found on the WTA website through the following link:  Rattlesnake Mountain - Grand Prospect.

We will meet at the parking lot of Rattlesnake Mountain/Snoqualmie Point Park at 7:45 am. Plan to start the hike by 8 am.

There are restrooms at the parking lot. Discovery Pass required!

Following introductions, a description of the route, and current trail conditions, we will plan to start hiking at 8am. There’s an outhouse in the parking lot.

Trailhead Directions:

Take I-90 east to Exit 27. At the end of the off-ramp, go right onto Winery Road. Turn right into the parking lot in .3 miles (there will be an open gate). Please note there is another parking lot (Snoqualmie Point) further down Winery Road. Be sure to turn right into the first parking lot, not Snoqualmie Point.
