We will depart from the Snowgrass Hikers Trailhead and take the Snowgrass Trail #96 up through Snowgrass Flat to the junction with the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT). We will then take the PCT southbound through lovely Cispus Basin and reach our high point at Cispus Pass. After our well deserved break at the pass, we will retrace our steps back to the trailhead.
Time TBD. The trailhead for the hike is the Snowgrass Hiker Trailhead (AKA Snowgrass Flat Trailhead) in the Goat Rocks. Note that this trailhead is about a 3 hour drive from Seattle. If you'd rather not drive the morning of the hike, the hike leader has reserved a large group campsite at the Walupt Lake Campground (about a 38 min drive to trailhead) for Saturday night 8/31 and Sunday night 9/1, and there are other lodging options available in nearby Packwood, WA (about a 50 min drive to the trailhead).
