Leader is a birder and photographer so expect very brief pauses (2-3 minutes on the hour) as nature warrants for bio/snack/water breaks. Moving pace average 2.3-2.5 mph. We'll take 20 minutes at the summit for an early "lunch". Few junctions so you can work your own pace, staying within shouting distance.
Meet at the TH at 6:15 a.m. booted and ready for introductions and stretching so we can be hiking by 6:30. This helps us beat traffic both ways, enjoy birdsong, and have time for other things in the afternoon. Carpooling details will follow in Hello Hiker.
