CHS 1 Hike - Surprise & Glacier Lakes
This hike is Surprise and Glacier Lake to Deception Creek. We will start at one trail head and end at another, requiring some planning for cars and transport at both ends. Distance is 16 miles, gain is 3,000 feet. See leader notes. CHS hike led at a CHS 1 pace (1.75-2.25 mph)

An Alpine Lakes Loop tour of 16 miles and about 3,000 feet. Starting at the Surprise Lake Trailhead, we will hike clockwise pass Surprise, Glacier and Deception Lakes on the PCT before connecting to the Deception Creek trail and returning along the creek.
