We will hike together and make short stops at the lower and middle ledges for views and photos before a 10 minute snack break at the upper ledge. The trail has a constant gentle grade up with occasional steeper and flatter sections. At an average moving pace of 2.0 mph, we will climb 1800' in 2.8 miles and then return down the same route.
Meet at Rattlesnake Ledge Trailhead at 7:45am ready for 8:00am start. From parking lot walk down gravel path to TH and meet there at TH and Bathrooms
From I-90 take exit 32 for 436th Avenue SE. Turn right onto 436th Avenue SE, also signed as Cedar Falls Road SE. Proceed about four miles down the road to the Rattlesnake Lake parking lot on the right. Coordinates: 47.4347, -121.7687
