This route climbs the western end of Rattlesnake Mountain, with stops at Stan's Overlook and the Grand Prospect bench. On a clear day, expect good views of Mount Si and the Snoqualmie Valley.

Carpool option: Meet at Tibbetts Valley Park & Ride (Newport Way & 17th Ave NW, the surface lot across from Issaquah Transit Center) at 7:00 a.m. Coordinates: 47.540706, -122.061933. Restrooms (port a potty style) available in the parking lot.
Trailhead: Take I-90 East to Exit 27. Turn right onto Winery Road, then right into the first parking lot in 0.3 miles. Do not continue to Snoqualmie Point — that's the next lot down the road. We'll aim to arrive around 7:30 a.m. Coordinates: 47.509376, -121.843828. Restrooms available. Discovery Pass required.
