This is a nice early season hike along a less-traveled stretch of the Middle Fork Snoqualmie River. We’ll follow the Pratt Connector Trail for 3 miles and then join the Pratt River Trail for another mile before reaching the spur trail to ‘Big Tree’, an old Western Hemlock spared during logging of the area in the 1900s. We’ll enjoy a longer break here (with plentiful seating!) before returning back to our cars.
Meeting time and place will depend on participants’ originating locations. Carpool options will be provided. Plan is to be on the trail by 9:00 a.m.
