This is a lightly used section of the PCT between Snoqualmie Pass and Windy Pass. There are no major viewpoints but it is a nice walk. Unlike the CHS 2 hikes posted for this route, we will not be heading up Mount Catherine on this trip.
There may still be patches of snow this time of year, though with little snowpack this year, it could be melted out by this time. I will monitor reports close to the date and include that information in a pre-trip email that I will send out a couple days before the trip.
Meet at the PCT parking lot by Snoqualmie Pass on south side of Interstate 90.
Parking Permit Required: Northwest Forest Pass or America the Beautiful pass.
We'll start hiking at 8 a.m.
