Let's meet at the Ash Way Park and Ride at 7 a.m. to form carpools.

I will park in the southwest corner of the lot.

If meeting us at the trailhead, plan to be at there around 8:30 a.m. (let me know ahead of time if this is what you will be doing).

Our hike will start from the Stevens Pass parking lot on the north side of the highway, across from the ski area. We follow a beautiful section of the PCT with a well-maintained trail at a moderate grade.

Note that this leader usually hikes toward the high end of a CHS1 pace but will stay alert to the needs of the group and go at a pace everyone can keep up with.  We will take regular breaks, with a longer break at the lake.

Let's plan to stop for a meal  on the way back. Zeke's Drive in on Highway 2 is an option and probably the quickest way to get calories in our bellies after the hike.
