This hike is labeled as a 'go-getter' hike because it is slightly longer than the June mileage range (8-10 miles) for CHS 1. Round trip, our route will be ~11.5 miles. Please be sure you are OK with this when signing up!
We'll hike to the gravel bar at the confluence of Falls Creek and Ingalls Creek where we’ll enjoy our lunch. Weather permitting, we may also travel a short distance beyond this junction for a look up at the south side Stuart Range (aka Enchantments) and a waterfall or two.
Meeting time and place will depend on participants’ originating locations. Carpool options will be provided. Plan is to be on the trail by 9:00 a.m.
