This trail near Leavenworth is one of my favorite early season hikes. It offers lush green forest with maples and Ponderosa pines, sunny open areas filled with balsamroot and lupine, and 360 degree views of Tumwater canyon, rugged mountains, and the Wenatchee River. It can be quite warm if we're lucky enough to have sun, so bring plenty to drink!

Meal/snack after the hike at the outdoor patio at Sleeping Lady resort just up the road. 

Tentative meeting time and place is Bothell Park and Ride at 7:00 am. Exact meeting place will be determined after seeing where the signed-up hikers are coming from so we can determine the best location.
