This route will take us along Hardy Ridge. It consists of a nice forest hike which will open up to a ridge with a view of Table Mountain as well as some of the Gorge. If the weather is clear then we may even get a view of Mt. Hood.
We'll get to the ridge at around the halfway point of the hike. The ridge is also a relatively short section for the hike. It is full of rocks and roots so we'll go quite a bit slower around this section to minimize accidents. I also strongly encourage hiking poles for at least this section.
After the hike we'll head back to Cascade Locks for a bite to eat.
