Field trip: Conditioning Hiking Series
CHS 1 Hike - Green Lake (Mount Rainier)
Starting near the new Carbon River entrance, we'll hike on the old Carbon River Road (devastated by floods in 2006 and 2008) until we get to the Ranger Falls/GreenLake Trailhead. We then head on up enjoying the wonderful old growth forest (one of the very best in the northwest) on the way to cascading Ranger Falls and pristine Green Lake. CHS 1 hike led at a pace of 1.5-2.0 mph.
