CHS 1 Hike - Excelsior Ridge

CHS1 hike led at pace 1.5-2.0 mph. Excelsior Ridge delivers an incredible ridge walk through wildflowers with Mount Baker and Mount Shuksan seemingly close enough to touch.

This hike offers beautiful wildflowers and a gorgeous skyline view as long as we get a fine day. The work is in getting up to Welcome Pass and then it is a fabulous ridge walk

The leaders have reserved a campsite at Douglas Fir campground for the weekend. Let us know if you want to join us, otherwise meet at the ranger station in Glacier. There will be a just for fun hike on Sunday for anyone who wants to stay over.
