CHS 1 Hike - Eightmile Lake, Lake Caroline & Windy Pass

An early autumn trek to Windy Pass on the arm of Cashmere Mountain in the Alpine Lakes Wilderness via Little Eightmile Lake & Lake Caroline featuring larches, marmots, and views of the Enchantment Peaks. CHS 1 graduation hike led at a pace of 1.5-2.0 mph.

We will meet  at Brickyard Park & Ride at 5:15AM and carpool to the trailhead.

Wrap up your CHS season with this popular hike in the outer Enchantments with three lakes, expansive views from the pass, and hopefully some autumn colors as well!  After the hike, we'll stop at the legendary (and newly rebuilt) 59er Diner for a well-deserved bite to eat before heading west again via Hwy 2.
