CHS1 hike led at pace 1.5-2.0 mph. The trail follows the North Fork of the Skokomish River through old growth forests to Camp Pleasant and Staircase Rapids.

Leader will be driving around via I-5 and US-101, departing the S. Federal Way P&R (901 S. 348th St.) at 7:00 a.m. If you plan on taking a ferry, please allow extra ferry/driving time to arrive at the trailhead by 9:00 a.m. Options will be detailed in email from leader.
