Leader is a birding fan (hence the early start) and likes to include short sensory breaks on CHS-1 hikes to appreciate what's around us. Pace will be steady at 1.5-2 mph, with a clothing break around 15 minutes, a brief snack/photo/water break at the first bridge, and bio breaks as needed.
We'll hike all the way to Big Creek Falls first for photos, then climb the short hill to Otter Falls for an extended snack break before we return to the cars.
Please bring poles, gaiters, and rain gear so we're ready for anything.
Meet at 6:50 a.m. at the end of the Middle Fork of the Snoqualmie road, ready for introductions and stretching at 7 a.m. and walking at 7:10 a.m. Carpooling info will be sent out in Hello Hiker email.
