Almost all of this hike will be in the dark and the trip will run rain or shine!

From the parking lot, we'll start out on the Whittaker Wilderness Peak Trail. We'll turn onto the Wilderness Cliffs Trail and follow it to Wilderness Peak. At the (viewless) summit, we'll have a quick break and a snack. Then we'll return via the Whittaker Wilderness Peak Trail to the parking lot.

Bring a pack weight of your choosing, something that will challenge you, but allow you to keep a moderate pace. We'll aim for a pace of 1.5-2.0 mph, but will adjust based on the group's needs.

Headlamps required. 

If we've climbed together or you've been on my conditioning hikes before, you have permission to sign up! All others, please request permission and let me know what other hikes you've done recently.

Meet in the parking lot at the Jim Whittaker Wilderness Peak Trailhead at 5:45pm  for a quick introduction. Boots on the trail at 6 p.m. sharp. 

No pass required for parking at the trailhead.
