It is officially spring, at least per the equinox. This also means its time to get serious about conditioning for those peak bagging and glacier trips on your bucket list for this summer.
We will start at the Cable Line Trailhead, ascend to West Tiger 3 summit and descend on the Cable Line Trail. Bring a pack weight of your choosing, something that will challenge you, but allow you to keep pace with the group. We'll keep a moderate/1.5-2.0 mph pace and adjust as needed. Please use water in jugs, bladders, bottles, etc. as your pack weight in the event you need to dump to lighten the load.
Headlamps are required as we will be returning in the dark. This conditioner will happen rain or shine, so bring your rain gear. Trail may be muddy if recent rain occurs- trekking poles are handy.
Meet at the Cable Line Trailhead at 6pm and start ascent on the trail at 6:10pm. Parking is available along SE 79th St (no Discover Pass needed).
