Part of this hike will be in the dark and the trip will run rain or shine!
From the trailhead, we'll take the Chirico Trail to Poo Poo Point. We'll have a quick snack and then return the way we came.
Bring a pack weight of your choosing, something that will challenge you, but allow you to keep a moderate pace. I plan to carry 20-25lbs. We'll aim for a pace of 1.5-2.0 mph, but will adjust based on the group's needs.
Headlamps required.
If we've climbed together or you've been on my conditioners before, you have permission to sign up! All others, please request permission and let me know what other hikes you've done recently.
We'll meet in the Poo Poo Point/Chirico parking lot at 5:45 p.m. for a quick introduction. Boots on the trail at 6 p.m. sharp. Be mindful of heavy traffic at this hour.
