*All of this hike will be in the dark and this trip will run rain or shine!*
The goal for this hike is to build fitness for the climbing season. Bring a pack weight that will challenge you, but allow you to maintain a moderate pace (about 2 mph).
We'll travel as a group for the first 10 minutes, then take a quick layer-change break. From there, plan to pick your own pace to the top.
We'll gather as a group at the top for a snack break and knots practice (Basic Climbing students, bring your practice rope!). Then, we'll return the way we came, as a group.
If we've climbed together or you've been on my conditioning hikes before, you have permission to sign up. All others, please use the "request leader's permission" button and tell me about other hikes or conditioning you've done recently.
Meet at the Poo Poo Point Trailhead. We'll gather for a quick intro at 5:45pm, boots on the trail at 6pm sharp. Don't be late!
*Be wary of heavy traffic at this time!*
No parking pass needed at the trailhead.
