This field trip will focus on introducing basic climbing class students to the basics of snow belays, snow anchors, crevasse rescue, traveling together on a rope, and snow camping.

This is a Snow 2 field trip for Tony's SIG. We will plan to camp on snow, get onto the Easton Glacier to practice glacier travel, and drop into open crevasses to practice crevasse rescue.  Participant in the evening practice sessions leading up to this in the spring is required for the Instructors helping. Please check with Tony  before registering.
