This is the Basic Alpine Climbing Course sign-up for Field Trip 1.

The students who are new to rock climbing and without prior belay experience practice belaying and lowering techniques.

Students with belay skills can skip this field trip, for instance if you have belay card from one of the local climbing gyms. A proof is not required, however, basic belay skills are expected for upcoming field trips.

Please be at the Program Center at the Climbing wall in Goodman C and ready to start at 7pm.

Climbing harness - belay device - large HMS locking carabiner (pear shape) - climbing helmet.
Footwear can be rock shoes or climbing boots.
