Learn rigging for vertical and horizontal progression

Meet at the Seattle Program Center at 8:15, ready to start at 8:30

Students will spend the day learning and practicing a variety of rigging techniques, and putting into practice the vertical and horizontal rope progression techniques learned on day 2. The curriculum includes a variety of anchors, including natural anchors and bolted anchors. Students will rig multiple types of fixed and releasable systems, and learn the application and context for each.

Required Equipment

All equipment is provided for use during the course. However, if you have your own gear, we encourage you to use it. Please let the instructor know in advance.

The rigging days will require all canyon gear, including helmets and whistles (no wetsuits needed). Plan to bring your own lunch.
