Rock and Snow Skills Test - Iron Peak

A one-day scramble up a mountain with steep snow and steep rock to test rock travel and snow travel skills for people applying for Scramble equivalency.

A day in the Teanaway to practice and demonstrate your off trail navigation skills, your snow and ice axe skills, and your rock scrambling skills.  We will also provide and instruct in what we term “protected downclimbing”.  

For people enrolled in the 2022 scramble equivalency process only, after contacting leader with your scramble resume.
