Dry suits are not recommended as the chlorine is hard on the gaskets. Most wear thin neoprene or just shorts and a shirt. The latter gets a bit cold if you are in the water a lot ie doing self rescues.
We are likely to go out to eat afterwards and all are welcome. There is a nearby Mexican restaurant in downtown Shelton which can handle out size group. I dont need to know ahead of time.
Meet at Shelton High School at 3737 N. Shelton Springs Rd, Shelton off Hwy 101. Turn into the driveway next to the turf soccer/football field. Come straight back about 100 yrd. Turn left at the end of the circular drive, now facing the POOL building. You will see others unloading kayaks.
Arrive between 1:40-2:00 as we dont bring our boats inside until a few minutes before 2:00. If you are going to be late, no problem, just text me at 360-701-5877 as I dont usually use the pool for the first hour. There are locker rooms with showers
Required Equipment
Your boat must be very clean including hosing out under your seat. This must be done before you arrive as there is no hose at the pool. (We dont have a lot of pool options so we cant afford to lose this venue due to dirt left in the pool.)
Some use nose plugs or a mask. Bring a towel.
