Pool Practice - Shelton Pool

Join us for a fun practice session in warm water from 2:00-4:00. This is not a class but is a two hour time to practice strokes, rescues, rolls etc. Fee is $15 paid when you register. Your boat must be very clean. Optional dinner afterwards at a nearby Mexican restaurant. Non-members welcome; contact Robin first.

  • Easy

Dry suits are not needed and chlorine damages the gaskets so wear thin dry suit or just shirts and shorts if you dont expect to spend much time in the water.  If you do such as for rescues, a wet suit is warmer.

Your boat MUST be clean including cleaning out from under your seat. There is no hose at the pool so take care of this before you arrive.

Although this is not a class, people help each other especially in the second hour.  I am free to help as well.

If you are interested in dinner we will discuss the plan at the end of the session and give directions.  I hope you join us

Meet at Shelton High School at 3737 North Shelton Springs Rd, Shelton.   Turn into the driveway which isnext to the turf soccer/football field.  Drive straight back approx 100 yards and the POOL building will be on your left.  Others will likely be unloading our boats.   Arrive between 1:40 and 2:00, but we cant bring our boats inside until around 2:00.

There are locker rooms with showers.

Any issues, call or text Robin at 360-701-5877
