We will continue leading practice from the last trip, while refining technique and learning special considerations and advanced skills. On the second day, students will select and complete their graduation climb, a 5.6 or above that they lead and clean flawlessly. Then students will be able to climb on their own once checked off.
We will meet at the Leavenworth safeway parking lot at 9:00am on Saturday, Sept 28, as there is no reception up icicle canyon and limited parking at the crag. Plan to camp overnight on Saturday, either at the crag or in a local campground.
