Meet at the Mt. Rose Trailhead at 7:30 am. We will try to be hiking by 7:45 am.
Bring snowshoes and trekking pole(s). The snow will make this a bit more that just a hike so be prepared for this to be strenuous.
Since we missed the Basic Skills Field Trip, we will check 10 Essentials in the parking lot, try a navigation exercise and, if we find a suitable lull, maybe practice knots. To practice knots, as least bring one prusik cord and a piece of webbing.
