This is an in town lecture and field trip

We will start with Lecture 1 - Introduction to Scrambling.  Discussion of rock and snow scrambling, course requirements, conditioning, gear, Mountaineers website, and course expectations.

After the lecture, we will have a number of stations to introduce students to skills.  This will include knot tying, basic navigation, intro to fixed line travel, 10 essentials, and conditioning.

Exact times to be provided prior to first lecture - anticipate 8:30-3:00 with a lunch break
