Final field trip for Leading on Rock course. Climb is on Castle Rock Sabre Route. Students must be prepared to lead multi-pitch trad route.

Meet in parking area at roadside parking lot for the Castle Rock trail-head - be fully prepared to leave parking and hike to base of climb at 7 am.  Date subject to change based on permitting.  Time also subject to change based on conditions.  

Culmination of intermediate leading on rock course. Multi-pitch trad climb.

Helmet, harness and climbing shoes.  All equipment necessary to lead a follow up a multi-pitch climb - e.g. belay from above, rappel etc.  

Bring the trad protection you have. You will have the opportunity to use available equipment to determine which types you want to purchase for yourself.
