Time to get used to self-arrest on steeper snow. We will work our way up a progessively steeper snow slope prasticing glissadign and self-arrest feet down facing in.

Ellinor chute if the Lower TH is accessable; if needed we will discuss using the slope below the Castle on Rainier
The main purpose of this FT is to get more comfortable with steeper snow and pratice slef-arresting on steep snow. Those with prior snow experience may have the option to do a snow scramble as aprt of a second group after they have praticed self-arresting.
