Have you dreamed of a long walk through the English countryside? The Cotswolds in southern England have been designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty for their expansive vistas steeped in history.
In this seventeenth Mountaineers Walking the Wild presentation, featuring exceptional adventures on foot in the wilds of the world, join Mountaineer Sonu Aggarwal as he talks about his weeklong adventure walking the 102 mile Cotswold Way with family. Roughly following the Cotswold Escarpment, the Way passes through a succession of pretty villages featuring historic cottages, elegant churches, welcoming pubs, and neolithic sites. Topics will include the route, logistics, accommodations, what to pack, and time for Q&A!
The presentation will be held on zoom, beginning at 7PM and going to 8:30PM with the last 15 minutes being dedicated to questions.
A ticket is required to attend, with free and $10 or $20 donation options available to help The Mountaineers continue their volunteer-led courses and activities, youth programs and conservation initiatives. Ticket sales will begin right after our October 7th Walking the Wild event, at the ticket sales link below. The link to join the zoom session will be emailed to those with a ticket in the two days before the event.
