Staying Found Field Trip - Tiger Mountain Lowlands

EASY PEASY is the easiest of the four field trip options (DIFFICULTY LEVEL 1). We will spend the first part of the field trip in the Interpretive Shelter doing navigation exercises, and then take a hike to practice the skills  you have learned.

This 5-hour session, held at Tiger Mountain State Forest out of the High Point trailhead, includes a map and compass exercise, a trip planning review, and a 3-5-mile hike where you will practice the principles you've learned.

We will meet at the Tradition Lake Interpretive Shelter at 8:00 A.M. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early to find parking. A Discover Pass is required to park in the lot.
