Yoga Hike - Seward Park

This is a club hike that includes yoga, for warmup and stretching before the hike, a longer session at the top of the hike, and stretching back at the trailhead after the hike. Initial priority for space on the hike will be given to people from the Yoga for Hikers, Backpackers and Trail Runners course. Registration will open for all Mountaineers on July 27.

Ten Essentials

Clothing suitable for the weather.  Clothing that is too bulky may interfere with some of the yoga poses.

A yoga mat may be too heavy and bulky to carry on the trails.  In lieu of a yoga mat, you can bring a pack towel for seated, supine, or prone yoga poses.
