MLC Online course lecture #2/7.
Session 2 Overview: We will start by looking at the results of the participant interest survey tool and touch base on individual leadership plans.
Goals | Expectations | Style: We will introduce the Goals | Expectations | Style framework for creating compatible groups developed by Tom Unger and adapted for our course. We will share some examples from our mentor instructor team.
Deep Dive into the Website: Guest instructor Christina Buckman (hike, backpack, urban walk leader, Co-creator of GoHike, Foothills Backpacking Committee Chair.) will join us and lead our tour of website resources and tools for leaders.
Homework: We will go over the assignment of drafting your goals, expectations and style.
This 2 hour Mentored Leader Course (MLC) session will be delivered by Zoom online classroom. Participants will be emailed the Zoom link a couple of days in advance of our session. We will sign in about 10-15 minutes before the session begins and encourage you to sign in early so that we are ready to go at 6:30 pm.
It is an expectation for all course participants to attend this session. The session will be recorded and sent out with the session follow up email.
