September GoHike Urban Walk: 4 to 8 miles, 750 to 2,000 feet gain (optional) - Elliott Bay
This is a fun walk along Elliot Bay, to the Olympic Sculpture Park, and the Waterfront Center. There are lovely water and mountain views along with the city skyline. GoHike Urban Walks are outings of at least two miles or longer that take place on city or suburban streets, parks or greenbelts. This urban walk counts toward your monthly required GoHike course September trips.

The terrain is pavement and asphalt. Bring your poles for your own comfort and balance.
We will walk on the paved trail along Elliot Bay to to the Olympic Sculpture Park and on to the new Waterfront Center and back.
This is meant to be a social and physical outing.
I have a tendency to walk fast - the pace will be 2.0+
We will have a break at the Waterfront Center - coffee, pastries etc.
The first bathroom is 15 minutes into the walk - plan accordingly.
The next bathroom is at the Olympic Sculpture Park and then businesses along the way.
Meet at the Expedia parking lot at 8:00 am ready to walk at 8:00 am.
