May Hikes: 3 to 5.5 miles, 300 to 1,250 feet gain - Oyster Dome–Samish Overlook Loop

Oyster Dome is a rocky viewpoint on the west side of Blanchard Mountain. From Samish Bay Overlook the trail heads up Blanchard Mountain to reach a very popular viewpoint. On a clear day we will have views of the San Juans, Skagit River flats, Olympic Mountains, and Samish Bay. We will return by way of Lily Lake and Max's Shortcut for a loop.

Meet at the Alger Park and Ride at 7:30 am. We will carpool and caravan west to the trailhead from here.

This is an extremely busy trailhead with limited parking.  Each vehicle will need a Discover Pass. There are vault toilets at the trailhead.
