May GoHike Urban Walk: 3 to 5.5 miles, 300 to 1,250 feet gain (optional) - Downtown Edmonds

Join us for a morning walk along the Edmonds marina, waterfront, and downtown. GoHike Urban Walks are outings of at least two miles or longer that take place on city or suburban streets, parks or greenbelts. This urban walk counts toward your monthly required GoHike course May trips.

We will be walking primarily on pavement. Bring poles for your own comfort and balance as needed. 

I have a tendency to walk fast - the pace will be closer to 2.0+

We will stay together as a group.

We will cross together at all pedestrian crossings.

This is meant to be a social and physical outing with lovely water and mountain views and downtown Edmonds.

We will proceed to Dayton St to the waterfront along the Marina to Marina Beach Park, the wharf, the diving park, to Sunset Av, 2nd St, and up Main St to the library and back to City Park.

There are bathrooms at City Park, at the marina, ferry building, and the library depending on our timing.

We'll have the option of lunch at PCC afterwards.
