The Redmond Watershed Preserve is beautiful wooded area, managed primarily as a nature preserve, with a focus on protecting its wide variety of habitats, including ponds and other wetlands. GoHike Pace Hikes are low-stress hikes to help you determine where you are in terms of gear, the pace (1.5 - 2 mph) and distance you can complete comfortably. These trips are designed to assist you in developing your goals for conditioning and hiking trips, so that you can determine what level of hikes and pace would be the best fit for you to sign up for - no pressure, no judgment!

We'll explore the south end of the beautiful Watershed Preserve on the Trout Interpretive Loop, Trillium, Pipeline and PSE trails with a loop + lollypop route.

We’ll travel together as a group between 1.5 and 2.0 mph moving speed (based on the slowest hiker) with stops as needed for clothing adjustments, water/snacks, and photo/nature breaks.

Goals: Get outside, explore new places, make new hiking friends, learn new skills, get home safe!

Leader Style: We like to have fun, be safe, enjoy the journey and engage with fellow hikers, while fostering a safe environment.  We encourage participants to be involved in navigating and learning to use navigation apps.

Expectations: Be prepared with your 10 Essentials, proper hiking shoes & clothing. Be ready to hike before the stated start time, at the proper location.  Let us know if you need anything (longer breaks, slower pace, help with navigation, etc.) during the hike. Respond to the Hello Hiker email your leader will send the week before the hike.
